Need High Performance with Higher Strength?

Try Michelin® 60 tpi Single Compound XC Series Cross-Country Tires
Michelin engineers realized a long time ago that no race can be won unless you make it to the finish line. That's why we developed a complete line of high performance cross-country tires using the same state-of-the-art tread designs as our XCR Dual Compound® models – but with high strength 60 tpi casings and more durable carbon black tread rubber.
The result is world class performance, efficiency and control with the kind of durability and enhanced puncture resistance that inspires confidence. When riding or racing in tough terrain and adverse conditions that test your equipment to the max, a single compound XC series Michelin® Cross-Country tire could be your best bet.
In fact, pros like multiple U.S. National Super D Champion Adam Craig and Team Giant often choose to race on these more durable single compound tires when encountering especially rough courses that can tear up equipment.
High Strength 60 TPI Casings: Though a little heavier and not quite as supple as their 127 tpi extra supple cousins in the XCR line, Michelin high strength 60 tpi casings are certainly no slouches. And with the benefit of enhanced durability, they can be the best choice when faced with particularly harsh terrain.
TOUGH, SINGLE COMPOUND CARBON BLACK TREAD RUBBER: Thanks to a more durable carbon black tread rubber, these knobs are a bit stiffer than the ones on our Dual Compound models. They also wear more slowly and hold up better when faced with the challenges brought on by sharp rocks, knob tearing roots and extreme conditions.
Michelin Mountain Series
Large Volume Tires Built for the Long Haul
Just right for today's longer travel suspension bikes, these tires feature beefed up casings in sizes up to 2.5" wide and advanced tread designs that help maximize traction, durability and control. When you're going out on that long, epic ride in uncharted territory, you’ll be glad you have a pair of Michelin® Mountain Series tires under you.
